
The Master Grocers Constitution
On the 26th November 2007 at the MGA Annual General Meeting, 2 resolutions to amend the rules and the MGA Constitution were unanimously adopted and carried by the MGA Board and Members.
The 2 resolutions included:
- A name change from the Master Grocers Association of Victoria Ltd to the Master Grocers Australia Ltd.

The overriding purpose of amending the rules and the MGA constitution is to provide the MGA with a solid platform for the future sustainable growth of its member support services and its members on a national basis. The amended constitution will enable the MGA to be a vibrant, relevant, national industry organization dedicated to providing a broader range of business support services to Grocery and Liquor/Beverage retailer members in Australia.
